On the 20th June 2012, SecureMetric participated in SME Innovation Showcase 2012 (SMIDEX 2012) at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). This year’s theme was SMEs-Shaping the Future, in line with the governments acknowledgement of SMEs contributions towards the development of Malaysia. The 3-day event was officiated by our Prime Minister, Dato’ Sri Najib Tun Abdul Razak. Organized by SME Corp and Ministry of Trade and Industry, SMIDEX 2012 only showcased the most innovative SMEs and SecureMetric is very proud to be part of it.
Besides the showcase, there were also business matching sessions that run parallel with ASEAN India SME Conference. These programs were designed to help SMEs seek new business opportunities across different industries as well explore an emerging market like India. SMEs from other countries like Thailand, Iran, Korea, Japan and Saudi Arabia were also showcased in SMIDEX 2012. This has given us a valuable networking experience while we were there.
As a summary, SMIDEX 2012 has been a good platform for SMEs in Malaysia to showcase their abilities in producing products, technologies and services for the global market.
